Fortified Wine

Classic Sherry, Ports and Madeira are one of the oldest styles of wine on the market! We stock popular types of Sherry, Port Tawney port and Madeira such as Fonseca. Our range of sherries cover all the key styles from Manzanilla to Amontillado and our ports include entry level, oak-aged ruby's to premium, bottle-matured Vintage ports. Port and Sherry is made by adding brandy in the fermentation process. The majority of port is made from red grapes, whilst sherries are tend to be made with white grapes, with brandy being added after the sherry has fully fermented. Madeira is only made in the islands of Madeira. Madeiras can be consumed on their own, as an aperitif or consumed with dessert.
