The Lowdown
From the town of Aying near to Munich, Celebrator is a dark, almost black, double bock (doppelback in German) that regularly wins awards around the world. If you're after something complex, rich and malty give this a try. Not for nothing is it sometimes called 'liquid bread'.
The Producer
Located midway between Munich and the Alps in the village of Aying, Ayinger is a relative newcomer among Bavarian breweries. Established in the 1870s the brewery is well known for organising its own local Oktoberfest celebrations since its location precludes it from taking part in the larger annual Munich beer festival.
