In a nutshell:
An iconic Pinotage from renowned Franschoek producer Chamonix.
This grape is something of a South African speciality and in the right hands makes for a very rewarding wine. Here there are wild berries, spices and cherry notes on the nose with hints of smoke and chocolate. Sweet ripe fruit then leads the palate, with dark chocolate, coffee and sweet spice.
When to drink:
The lovely smooth tannins and impressive length make it an excellent accompaniment to game and roasts.
