In a nutshell: A delicious, sweet infusion of Chase Vodka and freshly pressed English rhubarb distilled in Herefordshire.
The lowdown: This started life as a limited edition vodka, but proved very popular so they now produce it on a permanent basis. Herefordshire grown rhubarb is stewed prior to infusing with their classic vodka. The result is a delicately sweet vodka with a distinctive pink tinge. It's perfect for sipping neat over ice and it makes an ideal ingredient in a rhubarb fool.
The Chase story started in Potato farming in Herefordshire and Tyrrells crisps was the original enterprise where Will Chase had his success. After the sale of this business he landed on the notion of using his potatoes for distilling into vodka and gin as his next venture.
Neatly surfing the rise in popularity of craft and artisan spirits they've built a diverse range of premium spirits and are now one of the leading producers of home grown spirits.
Further diversification has led to the establishment of Maison Williams Chase in the south of France from where they produce a range of wines including a classic Provence rosé.
