A weighty, rounded and rich white from the Terrasses du Larzaz sub-region of the Languedoc in South West France.
Significant investment has gone into Chateau Capion and the results are noticeable. The wines are well put together, polished and fruit forward. This blend of Bourboulenc and Roussanne has been hand picked, partially fermented in new oak barrels, and then aged also in new oak. Fuller bodied with smooth peach fruit flavours and minerally notes on the palate leading onto a generous length at the finish.
This wine would suit those who like weightier southern French and oaked whites. Pair with rich fish, white meat or creamy pasta dishes.
