A weighty, rounded and rich white from the Terrasses du Larzac sub-region of the Languedoc in South West France.
Significant investment has gone into Chateau Capion, and the results are noticeable. The wines are well put together, polished and fruit-forward. This blend of Bourboulenc and Roussanne has been hand-picked, partially fermented in new oak barrels, and then aged also in new oak. Fuller bodied with smooth peach fruit flavours and minerally notes on the palate leading onto a long length.
This wine would suit those who like weightier southern French and oaked whites. Pair with rich fish, white meat or creamy pasta dishes.
