In a nutshell: A crisp and soft, copper pot distilled Vodka from the Highlands of Scotlend
The lowdown: Badachro Distillery on the north west coast of Scotland overlooking the Isle of Skye is a small boutique operation set up in 2017 by a husband and wife team with a real passion for distilling. For their Dancing Puffin Vodka they use pure highland water, naturally, and filter the spirit five times which results in a crisp vodka with a gently soft flavour with a touch of pepper and rounded character. It's great in all types of cocktails.
Badachro Distillery, in the remote north west of the Scottish Highlands, was set up in 2017 by the husband and wife team of Gordon and Vanessa Quinn. Starting out with a B&B they've since added self catering accommodation and set up the Badachro Distillery from where they now produce a range of gins, vodkas and whiskies. Nestled in a small hamlet overlooking Badachro Bay which has wonderful views of the Isle of Skye and beyond they've certainly found themselves in a gloriously picturesque part of Scotland and it's pleasing to report that, with their evident passion for distilling, that their small batch, artisanal spirits fully reflect the quality of their surroundings.
