In a nutshell:
An intense, spicy Chilean red from a true boutique wine company.
This is an exciting, terrior driven wine from the Garage Wine Company. Farming on their vineyards is done by hand and horse power using traditional time honoured practices and without irrigation which is fairly unusual in this part of the world. It's a powerful wine with aromas and flavours of cherry, redcurrant, and violet, along with smoky mineral notes on the finish with a texture that's rich yet subtly refreshing.
When to drink:
If left to age it's capable of developing nicely into the 2020s. It's nicely versatile with food. A good steak, grilled lamb, or hearty vegetarion dishes work well.
