In a nutshell:
A delicate and mature Pinot from one of the most famous vineyard sites in Switzerland.
From the Chablais region of the Vaud, just to the east of Lake Geneva, the beautiful terraced vineyards are supported by big stone walls (the 'Murailles') and it requires an army of pickers at harvest time. Made by the Badaux winery, one of the pioneers of the Vaud, this red is the 'new' partner to the renowned Aigle Les Murailles Blanc, though there is nothing 'new' about the old vines!
When to drink:
Try with meatier fish, salad Nicoise, or something like a Wiener schnitzel.
Suitable for Vegans
