In a nutshell:
An expressive Méthode Traditionelle sparkling wine from Bordeaux.
Crémant de Bordeaux is not a widely seen wine, even it's home region, but, as here, there are some good quality and good value examples around. Made entirely from one of Bordeaux's main white grapes, Semillon, with secondary fermentation in bottle in the traditional method this is a a light and lively sparkler with a pleasingly persistent mousse. The flinty minerality is nicely balanced by a fleshy yeastiness and a rounded citrus fruitiness.
When to drink:
An ideal aperitif it'll also go well with seafood, grilled white fish, or veal.
