DESCRIPTION
A full and fleshy white Burgundy from the distinguished Côte de Beaune village of Meursault.
The lowdown:
The Narvaux vineyard overlooking the village is well drained which helps the resulting fruit have a good minerality. This, and the bright citrus notes sit well with the buttery and soft spice flavours that feature prominently. While certainly quite ballsy there's an elegance from the fresh fruit flavours that sit really well together.
When to drink:
When food matching Rich turkey, or guinea fowl recipes come to mind.
PRODUCER
Domaine Yves Boyer-Martenot

Now into the fourth generation of family ownership Domaine Boyer Martenot is continuing to follow traditional practices in producing high quality wines from this prestiguous part of the Côte d'Or. Vincent, son of Yves Boyer and Cécile Martenot is the current owner of the domaine based in the village of Meursault.
The Domaine has in total 10 hectares of vineyards spread across various locations of the Côte de Beaune including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses and Pommard. From 1997 to 2007 the Domaine acquired more parcels of land giving them a wider selection of appellations including Meursault Les Tillets, Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrieres and Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Le Cailleret. A quite impressive array of holdings.
