The lowdown:
Alongside a few others, Miraval with its celebrity connection is one of the famous labels for Côtes de Provence rosés. After taking over the estate in 2008 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie partnered up with the Perrin family, famous for Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape, who make Miraval rosé at their winery in the Rhône Valley. The grapes though, mainly a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle, all organically farmed, are grown on the Miraval estate. It's got delicate aromas of raspberries, peaches and white flowers while the palate is elegant and well balanced with a fresh minerality and crisp acidity that leads to a long, saline finish.
When to drink:
It's beautiful, sunny summer drinking and also superb with light mediterranean dishes like carpaccio of beef, or tuna and perfect with a salade niçoise.

Chateau Miraval
Château Miraval is located in the Provence village of Correns, the first 100% organic village in France. All the crops, including grapes, are grown organically in this wild and picturesque town. Tucked away in its own private valley, the Château is surrounded by ancient woodlands and olive groves. In 2012, owners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie partnered with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel fame, who oversee wine production at the estate. Their continued dedication to improving quality in both the vineyards and the cellar, have seen the wines go from strength to strength, with Château Miraval today considered one of the great names of Provence.
