In a nutshell: A clean, well-rounded and rather interesting white from northern Portugal.
The lowdown: Most of the wine from this region is red, but this lively blend shows that the whites are up to the mark as well. It has complex aromatic aromas of fresh herbs, peach and honeydew melon lead onto a juicy and layered palate. Well balanced with good fruit intensity - quite a bit of wine for the money here.
When to drink: An ideal aperitif, also good with seafood and pasta.
Started in 2010 by a winemaker and wine buyer who felt there was an opening to bring some lesser known Portuguese wines to greater attention. Since then they've been working with growers and winemakers across Portugal to create a range of wines that express the characteristics of their area of origin whilst delivering excellent quality and value for money.
