The Lowdown:
20 inch Traditional wicker hamper basket. Beautifully handcrafted with strong faux leather fittings and cut out handles at either end to facilitate carrying. Made from Chinese willow, this environmentally sustainable and fast growing wicker hamper is harvested in autumn to ensure quality and strength. Rather than staining the willow to achieve its honey colour, we boil ours for 6 8 hours for a more natural production process. The wicker is harvested and grown in villages and then shipped to a communal warehouse for finishing: straps, buckles and handles are attached and the wicker is sprayed with a water based eco-friendly sealant that keeps it clean and mould free.
