In the northern reaches of Chablis, situated in Maligny on the right bank of the Serein River, Domaine Daniel Séguinot, a modest 27-hectare estate established in 1971, is currently under the capable stewardship of the charming and astute sisters, Emilie and Laurence. Taking the reins from their father, they have steered the estate towards domaine-bottled, oak-free wines characterized by an authentic linear style.
When to drink:
Classic food pairings here are things like oysters, grilled shrimp, or a light goat cheese salad. And pretty good just by itself.
