In a nutshell: An aromatic and creamy Spanish Witbier-cum-Lager from SA Damm, Barcelona's biggest brewery.
The lowdown: This was created in collaboration with the celebrated chef Ferran Adrià of El Bulli fame to be a perfect beer to partner food. It works espcially well with bittersweet and spicy flavours. Slightly cloudy in appearance it's highly aromatic with a creamy fresh texture and pleasant lingering aftertaste.
Founded in 1876 by August Küntzmann Damm his eponymous brewery is a landmark in Barcelona and one of the largest in Spain. While they're best known for their flagship lager Estrella Damm they also brew quite a range of other beers.
