Description
In a nutshell:
A fresh, juicy, and bold 100% Rondo red wine from West Sussex producer Kinsbrook Vineyard.
The lowdown:
Kinsbrook Vineyard was started in 2017, but for these guys the wine started before the vineyard. Since then, they have grown a lot, from offering vineyard tours and coffee to passing cyclists to building a spectacular double height barn to house their new restaurant and produce shop. Introducing the first ever still red wine made by Kinsbrook, and the first of a brand new 'kith' range, a range showcasing cool, funky, and mischievous side of wine production. Made from 100% Rondo grapes from the October 2022 harvest, this wine was made in a Beaujolais nouveau style. Using the Carbonic Maceration technique during the winemaking process has resulted in a wine that is fun, juicy, and bold with tonnes of character. Tasting notes include dark cherry and blackcurrant.
When to drink:
Best served after spending an hour in the fridge before opening, would pair well with most BBQ occasions.
