A straight-up ale without fancy bells or whistles - a super solid British Best Bitter from Only With Love, balanced, bright and floral.
The Lowdown:
Best Bitters with a more traditional slant aren't Only With Love's usual style, but using only local hops and malts they've shown they're dab hands at time-honoured styles too. What they've come up with is a copper-coloured, bright and lightly floral ale, with a hint of citrus and a firm malty backbone. Good bitterness - check, clean, dry finish - check, satisfying mouthful - check.
The Brewery:
Only with Love Brewing was opened by mates Steve Keegan and Roger Warner at the start of the first pandemic lockdown in 2020. Located just outside of Uckfield, East Sussex, the brewery's ethos is all about fostering joy, health, and happiness through mindful drinking choices. Offering a range from zero to 5% ABV, this brewery specialises in alcohol-free and lower abv beers crafted with the well-bring of consumers in mind.
