ABV 4.1% - 20.0 Litres
In a Nutshell:
Full on fruity flavours with a bitter crisp finish.
The Lowdown:
Brewed with floor malted Maris Otter pale malts, and a bit of wheat and munich malts. Mystic and Harlequin hops were used in the dryhop both being very pungent UK varieties. The colour is pale golden and perfectly bright. Some biscuity malt on the nose, but mainly dominated by stone fruit, citrus and black currant/hedgerow aromas. Medium body with some fruity sweetness coming through from the hops, followed by a bitter crisp finish.
The Brewery:
At Utopian they have a simple mission: to celebrate British lager. They're based in beautiful Devon and brew using traditional methods, but they put their unique spin on classic styles, using 100% British-grown ingredients. With a rich tapestry of local ingredients and producers, it was an easy choice for them to reduce their carbon footprint by using only homegrown ingredients. What sets them apart is that the UK leads in building disease-resistant hops, making them both eco-friendly and flavourful.
