Wayfarer Wines is a family run vineyard in Kent, close to Ashford. They have two vineyards around 8 acres in size, that provide the grapes for the wines they produce. Starting in 2016 with a focus on producing high quality still wines. Made using 100% Bacchus grapes this wine has had partial oak ageing and lees stirring have been used to create complexity, body, and texture in this sophisticated expression. Subtle notes of vanilla are lifted by elderflower aromas and fresh lychee. Well balanced, with white peach on the palate and a lingering fresh finish.
When to drink:
Would suit being paired with oily white and dark fish dishes.
